and, MIA

I hate being this busy, and having SO much to do, and no time to do it. I've been taking things at school a little to slack lately, and my grades have been reflecting that. But I can't do half asses work anymore. I have to get a certain GPA to stay in the co-op program, as well as get scholarship awards.

I'm wondering if I bit off more than I can chew this time.

Or maybe I just need to shut the F up, and get to work, right? That seems like the better option.

What this all basically means is that I'll be MIA for a few weeks. I'm hoping to get some posts done maybe in mid-March. I hope. If things go well, that is.

Twitter will still be (semi) updated
Tumblr might get the occasional update, but its all stuff that I like, so I dunno.
Facebook will be super irregular, and only checked on my phone while en route to school
Instagram will also be spotty at best.

See you guys in March!

*squee*

So, I am super duper excited! I get to go see Emilie Autumn in concert this Tuesday! *happy dance*
She is a fabulous electro/goth/classical violinist who is part opera, part Victorian and all asylum. I love her. Like, woah. I mean, look at her! She's so beautiful, and talented, and I am insanely excited that I get to see her live.

I've already planned an occasion appropriate outfit. Which I will post after the show, when I have my concert photos and (maybe) video.

This will also be my first concert since seeing Slipknot and Deftones, where my husband proposed to me. Yes, he did propose at a Slipknot concert-awesome, right?
Anyways, I am really looking forward to this, because a. I love her and b. most of the musicians that I love never come to Vancouver, so this is kinda rare and awesome for me. Sure, its a school night, and right after I have a midterm, but whatever. Sometimes, things are worth a little less sleep.
And, for those of you who don't know who she is, here is one of my fave songs. Enjoy!

The week of a million midterms

Alright, so I don't actually have a million midterms, but it sure feels like it. I have 6, maybe 7. I'm not entirely sure, since each of my teachers gave me 2 midterm dates, but I only have 6 classes, so, I have no idea.
Not good.
But whatever. Luckily, they are all the same topic, just different facets of the Korean language, so as long as I can read, write, spell, and do proper pronunciation, I'll be fine.

저는 한국어를 공부해요. 한국어는 아주 어렵어요
...
So, besides that, this weekend I am going to my first Korean rockabilly concert! It will be a lot of fun, and I am looking forward to it.
Speaking of concerts, through the help of my awesome suite-mate Cha Hee, I am going to the Dream Concert in May! It has just about all the BIG Korean K-pop stars there-20 in all-and I am super excited.
I don't like K-pop as much as a lot of people, but I DO listen to it in the gym everyday, so I know a lot of the popular songs and artists. I actually don't even mind it, I just prefer my metal and hardcore the majority of the time.
Regardless though, I think it will be a lot of fun!

I have started to plan out my last remaining weekends here in Korea. I am going to miss a lot of things, but I think I should experience everything this country has to offer before I mope around about the things I will miss.
