Had a good run

Hey guys, sorry about this, but I'll be MIA for about a week or so. It's that time in the semester when my procrastination has caught up with me, and I have 2 term papers due (among other stuff) at the end of the week, and, frankly, have barely started.

In the meantime, feel free to watch my youtube vlogs, fiddle around on Tumblr, Twitter, or wherever you would like.

San Fran-bears, photos, and extras oh my!

This is (finally) the last post about San Francisco, and it isn't really about anything. Other then bears. And photos. It will be mostly photos.

We took our bears out for some sightseeing, and I think the photos turned out super cute. I have a thing for teddy bears, and i stand by it.

Aren't they cute!?! All of these are in the downtown area, and it was just beautiful that day. Here are some other photos of random stuff (not teddy bears) that was around before we took the train back home.

And, finally, some last photos from the train ride home!
These are fancy lenticular clouds formed by mountain formations

San Francisco yummy desserts!

Seriously, you guys. I ate like a sugar coated queen while I was in San Francisco. If there was lots of sugar, icing, pretty colours, or fondant, you better believe i was all over that. I totally gave the fat kid in me the delicious treats it desperately wanted.

First up, at the Pier 39, there was this ADORABLE little cupcake place, that had cronuts. This was my first time hearing about a cronut (croissant/donut) and I admit, I was a little wary. I stuck with a normal ol' cupcake, that was to die for. I did, however, get to try to cronut, as my friend was willing to let me try a piece of hers. I must say, it was quite delightful!

There was also this little macaroon/cupcake place that was near our friends hotel (Hotel Nikko), and, every time I walked by the shop, I had to stop myself from running in and buying everything. It all looked so yummy! I really wanted to get a macaroon AND a cupcake, but, when I finally did give into temptation, they were all out of macaroons. I settled for the tiramisu cupcake, which I highly recommend.

Finally, while we were at the California Academy of Science, we stopped at the very legit cafe that was in the building, and, while getting our dinner, I snuck a little cupcake on my tray. It was a chocolate caramel cupcake, and, wow, super tasty!
As I'm sure you're starting to notice, I LOVE cupcakes. Frankly, I've never met a cupcake I haven't liked. <3
I should mention that I did not get pictures of all the other sweets I ate, such as the mounds of chocolate from my chocolate tours, mini donuts, a chocolate brownie ice cream monstrosity from Rainforest Cafe, chips and frozen yogurt with piles of chocolate caramels and chocolate chips on top.
Oh, wait, I did get a picture of the brownie ice cream thing!

The take away? I love sweets!

California Academy of Science

I would, again, like to apologize for my prolonged absence the past little while. The cold and broken rib thing really kicked my ass hard. Like, wow.

Anyways, I have just a few more blogs about San Francisco left, so bear with me on this. This was such an amazing trip, and I just want to share all my cool adventures!

One of the cool things we got to do was the California Academy of Science! I LOVE science, and nature, and all those things, so this was totally a place for me. The fact that it had some AMAZING exhibits just made it more awesome.

There is an elaborate area dedicated to the study of evolution, not just of animals and specific species, but to the migration of these species and why things are they way they are at a particular location. There was also a lot of history, in terms of evolution of species, the earth, and how we humans have shaped that evolution. It was some super neat stuff!

There was also a pretty extensive aquarium. It was actually better than the 'official' aquarium in a few ways, mostly in its variety of species. They also had parts of the aquarium running through the entire building, so that, almost anywhere, one could see sting rays and small skates swimming around. I wish I got a picture of that!

In addition to these areas, there was also an earthquake simulation room, an indoor Amazon rain forest with butterflies and plants from the Amazon, and a planetarium. Now, one of the EXTRA cool things about the California Academy of Science is that they have a Night Life night, in which there is booze, no children, DJ's and artist exhibits from local artists. In addition, most of the normal exhibits are also open, and the planetarium even has some special shows that they only show at the Night Life. Of course we went, and it was AMAZING.
A tip to those who go to Night Life-arrive early, since it sells out fast, and be sure to get your little tickets to the extra planetarium shows early, since there are limited seats.

Alright, so there are 2 more posts about San Fran, and then we (finally) get to move onto things I've been doing lately! Also, if you haven't already, subscribe to my YouTube channel and watch the videos! I will (likely) do at least one a week, so enjoy my awkwardness at talking, thinking, expressing, and videotaping.

My MIAness

Sorry guys, after my birthday, I got quite sick and had to stay in bed for a few days. I am still getting over being sick, but I still get tired quite easily.

I also cracked a rib, so doing a lot makes it hurt like a bastard.

So, hopefully, I'll heal up nicely soon and be back and posting (and able to sit long enough to write a big post) soon.
